Celine Dion: That’s the Way It Is

توی این درس میخواهیم با چند تا کلمه و ساختار قشنگ آشنا بشیم. به علاوه، میخواهیم یک سری idiom  و اصطلاح قشنگ یاد بگیریم.

کلمه اول go through  هست که به معنی تحمل کردن یه موقعیت سخته مثلا

After going through all the hardships, he could be successful  بعد از تحمل کل سختیها/ بعد به دوش کشیدن همه سختی ها، تونست موفق بشه

اصطلاح  بعدی uphill climb به معنی مسیر سخت و دشوار هست

Getting a PhD was an uphill climb for me, but I could pass it

گرفتن مدرک دکتری خیلی سخت بود برام ولی تونستم پاسش کنم.

اصطلاحا come to sb یعنی به کسی مربوط شدن

when we discuss happiness, it all comes to you

وقتی حرف از خوشبختی میشه همه چی بر میگرده به خودت

فعلهای surrender: succumb, give up, give in  به معنی تسلیم شدن هست و در همه موقعیت ها میشه ازش استفاده کرد اگه بخواهیم یه معنی خیلی ساده تر هم بگیم میشه: کم آوردن

When I realized I could not pass the test, I surrendered and changed my line of studies

وقتی که فهمیدم نمیتونم این آزمون رو قبول بشم، کم آوردم یا تسلیم شدم و رشته تحصیلیمو عوض کردم

اصطلاح بعدی تو این آهنگ easy way out  هست که به معنی راه فرار داشتن/ راه در رو داشتن مثلا:

I could feel that there was no easy way out of facing the angry man

یه حسی بهم میگفت که راه فراری برای رو در رو شدن با اون مرد عصبانی ندارم

ساختار be left in doubt به معنی تو شک و تردید بودنه مثلا

after seeing the result, I was left in doubt to accept my future choices بعد از دیدن نتیجه، تو شک و تردید موندم که انتخابهای آینده مو بپذیرم یا نه کلمه بعدی phrasal verb خلی باحالیه به اسم give up on sth/ sb  که به معنی تسلیم شدن/ یا نا امید شدنه مثلا: I didn’t want to give up on my students نمیخواستم از شاگردام نا امید بشم.

اولین کلمه این بخش question هست که به عنوان فعل استفاده میشه و معنیشم زیر سوال بردنه مثلا

some people always question the way we live in

بعضی از آدام همیشه سبک زندگی ما رو زیر سوال می برن.

اصطلاح بعدی plain to see  به معنی تابلو/ واضح/ مثل روز روشن بودنه

the answer was plain to see but I was so confused to find it

حواب مثل روز روشن بود/ تابلو بود ولی خیلی گیج شده بودم تا پیداش کنم.

ساختار بعدی هم stick together  هست که یعنی مصمم بودن

I need to stick together, if I want to win this match

اگه بخوام تو این مسابقه پیروز بشم باید مصمم باشم

تو این بخش از آهنگ کلمه loneliness  رو داریم که میشه تنهایی یا solitude

با کلمه alone اشتباه نگیرید چون loneliness یعنی حس و وضعیت تنهایی مثلا

some people prefer to spend their free time in solitude or in loneliness

بعضی از مردم دوست دارند وقتشون رو تو تنهاییشون سپری کننه

کلمه بعدی sorrow  هست که به معنی غم/ اندوه  melancholy, sadness,  هست

although life is full of sorrows, we should learn to overcome them

درسته زندگی پر از غم و اندوهه ولی باید یاد بگیریم چطوری از پسشون بر بیایم

و در نهایت کلمه conquer  رو داریم که به معنی پیروز شدن هست.

I could not conquer my problems when I was younger, but now I can do it

وقتی جوونتر بودم نمیتونستم به مشکلاتم غلبه کنم ولی الان میتونم.
